7:30 am –All Students Arrive at LCMS to take bus to Festival.

7:50am  - Arrive at UW-L

8:15am – MS Jazz I  Warm up in Cartwright Center (Student Union).

8:45am – MS Jazz I Performs in “Valhalla Theater” (Student Union).

9:15am – Put Instruments away and Listen to other Jazz groups in Cartwright Center.

10:10am  - HS Jazz Warm up in Cartwright Center (Student Union).

10:45am  - HS Jazz Performs in “Valhalla Theater” (Student Union).

11:15am – Put Instruments away. Eat Lunch 11:15am.

Noon -3:00pm –  Listen to Groups in Cartwright Center, Relax, Listen some more.

3:00pm-3:45pm - Instrumental Clinics (See schedule posted in Cartwright).

4:00pm-4:45pm – Presentation by Pro Jazz musician – Michael Weiss in Valhalla.

Winners announced in Valhalla @ 5:00pm. All meet in the Lobby for departure.

5:15pm – Bus Departs for LCHS.

5:30pm – Arrange to be picked up at this time at LCHS.

Jazz fest is an excellent opportunity to see and hear other groups from our area.  It is expected that our students listen to some ensembles during the day.  Also – remember we are all ambassadors from not only LCM/HS, but also our community at large.  Always display exemplary concert etiquette and maturity around campus – we are guests this day.

Parents, Family, and Friends are encouraged to attend all performances Free of charge.

Dress for the Middle School band is ALL BLACK.

(Dress for the High School band is Black Slacks and Jazz Polo Shirts.)

We will be walking outside to go to lunch. Don’t forget your coat.

Please bring money for food and snacks. We will meet in the lobby of Cartwright Center to go to lunch as a group at 11:15am.
