CONCERT BAND
Musicians Notes
Concert Band Members are privelaged to be a part of an elite performance ensemble at our High School.
With this honor comes a great responsibility.
Each member is charged with preparing advanced band literature individually such that rehearsal time may be efficiently spent on sophisticated musical concepts such as balance and blend.
Implied is an inherent expectation of proper rehearsal etiquette.
1.) Attentively attending all rehearsals
2.) Speaking only when appropriate - about the music
3.) Respecting the music, the musicians and the Director at all times
LANCER BAND
Band Practice Notes
Students are expected to practice a few nights a week as individual work load permits.
Individual accountability is critical to the success of our bands.
Parents are encouraged to contact the Directors and Lesson Teachers as to the music they should be hearing practiced at home should they hear none.
